The Little Mouse

THE RED RIPE STRAWBERRY, and the BIG HUNGRY BEAR!

We went back to the Carlsbad Strawberry Fields with some friends today. I wanted to hit it up one more time before the season closed. It was just as fun! Then we met up with some friends from HB who just moved to San Diego and played at the pool. Kids slept all the WAY home. Lovely!

After the pool, the car smelled sooo good with all those strawberries hanging out!

this is one of our favorite books! i wish i knew of some strawberry fields in utah!
have you ever heard of the learning triangle? it's what you're doing but also includes watching a show. for ex., sesame street had a show on feet. then you read the foot book by dr. seuss and paint toenails. (well, merrick, maybe not painting toenails, but you get the picture.) the learning triangle just includes the visual learning is all. i love your summer ideas! so fun! (and i love "how i became a pirate" too! excellent literature choices! : )
