We have great friends in HB who plan a great pumpkin carving party every year.
Well, we could be sad that we don't live close and don't get to participate, OR we could make our own fun.
That is what we did.
We invited 5 families from our ward over for FHE. We ate pizza, the most amazing carmel corn that had chunks of snickers in it, and drank LOTS of root beer.
Then we carved our pumpkins.

Hmmm. I wonder who those cool friends are. he he. Well, this years party was barely a party, but pumpkins were carved! Being pregnant and lazy makes for some poor party planning. Way to get the ball rolling and plan your own shindig! I think it is safe to say you are having waaaay too much fun in Oregon. I mean, crazy berry picking, pumpkin picking, awesome green parks and everything is CHEAP! Argh. Next thing you are going to tell me is that the christmas tree you picked yourself was cheaper than Home depot. That's it. I'm buying a fake one.
