Today looked like this:
The twins and I watched The Polar Express this morning and had a play date with our neighbors.
Then it was nap time. I love naptime, especially when it is raining...
I did this:
I sat by the tree, watched Princess Diaries 2, finished labeling our Christmas cards and snuggled in my blanket. Perfect naptime activity!
Then Tyson came home and we decided we needed to do our Advent Calendar activity for the day. ( On my Potterybarn advent calendar I made, I put slips of paper in each on with things to do each day. We have had a lot of fun with them, but I haven't posted any of that... one of these days)
Anyways, today we were supposed to make snowmen with the family. So we did. No kit necessary when you have ribbon, toothpicks, marshmallows, and markers.
I think they turned out SO Cute!
The rain had a momentary halt, so we decided to run some of our neighbor gifts to the neighbors.(Sorry you only get one if you live within 30 second walking distance from our house.)
Cabin fever really started to kick in... so we decided to hop in the car and go look at lights...
The first two pictures were taken in Newport Beach...
The last couple were taken right by our house...
Really do you need that many random things in your front yard? A flying pig? A husky dog sled? A polar bear? Wow.. that is some Christmas Spirit!

p.s. tyson i love your long sleeve. you often have short sleeve collard ones, but this is a nice change. i like it.

Love the snowman family! AND seriously, this rain can go away any day! I am tired of it! I want our sunny 65 degree winter days back!
