I came home to find a neatly wrapped "little" box on the counter.
I asked Tyson where it came from, he was being sneaky and said, "I don't know, why don't you open it."
So I did.
Inside was a note, "To: Mrs. T Scott
From: Dr. ___
Thanks for lending Tyson to me."
And a drum roll please... the gift card is to Fashion Island and the Irvine Spectrum in the amount of $150!!!
Tyson works with the doctor quite a bit, and this doctor has given us some great things...
the $150 gift card to Morton's
$50 gift card to Starbucks
and now my very own gift card. How thoughful...
So the question is... how do I spend it?
Do I buy LOTS of stuff at Forever 21, Old Navy, Target etc and get lots of new clothes and accessories?
Or do I go to my FAVORITE store EVER, Anthropologie, and buy a couple of REALLY nice things I would normally not buy myself?
OR do I use that money towards a pair boots I have wanted for a long time, but would still have to pay $100 of my own money to get them...?
What would you do?

18 love notes:
the boots, the boots!!
If it were me... Id get one nice "timeless" item from anthropology and spend the rest on a few cheaper "fun" trendy items at forever 21 (LOVE that place)!
FYI: Anthro. has their biggest sale of the year after Christmas. If you can wait, you'll get a lot more bang for your buck.
HAVE FUN.. you deserve it!
oh you lucky lucky girl! that is such a hard decision...i say get one nice thing and a few cheaper things. or maybe the boots...tricky tricky.
that is so nice!
anthro. :)
i'm all about getting one big thing. that way you are more likely to remember the nice big gift, rather than forget all the little things that don't last forever.
i would do anthro and buy something full price!
what a sneaky dog.. i bet tyson was cracking up inside.
you are one lucky duck!! anthro it is :)
i want to hear an update on what you decide
i also vote for anthropologie, a few nice things. You can pick up a thing here and there from old navy, but not likely to do so at anthro. I would be scared to wear 250 dollar shoes in case I mess them up or they get dirty or something.
oh thats a hard one since i'm a spender, i agree buy one nice thing and then fill in with the rest! lucky duck, but i think you should make a day of it and go shopping by yourself or some of your girls!!
I can't say where, just not the boots. Sorry! :(
Let us know!!!
Ooooh--how fun! I would go get a couple things that I normally wouldn't buy, but that I'd love more than a lot of cheap things! YAY--keep us posted on what you got. Nice perks :)
Oh--b.t.w. my family calls that mall the large and spacious mall hehehe--love it.
Anthro or Boots, for sure! It is a treat so treat yourself to something nice!
i know you can get cheaper boots than that. so spend it on clothes. brooke :)
How Cool! Whatever you decide, David and I agree that part of it needs to go to a nice dinner with Tyson! :) Afterall, without him there would be no dough. I recognize that this comment is coming from the guy's older sister :)
Love ya Jen! Have fun!
The boots and one thing from Anthropologie. If you have to make up a little of with your own money, heck, it's only a little!
Jump and scream for joy. Can't help you beyond that....
Anthropologie is my second home so I'm a bit bias. I live six blocks from the original Anthro (sit down for this...it takes over four floors!!!). I love that store and would spend it there! ;)
