80s!!

I love a reason to party!
My friend Rachel turned 30 in January.
She is the one in the awesome 80s prom dress.
Her husband really wanted to have a surprise 80s birthday party for her, so we set up an entire day of fun...

We took her out for her birthday like we always do for each other. We told her she needed to dress 80s and we were going bowling. No better way to bring on the 30s then pretending you are way younger than you are. :)

We dressed 80s so she would be ready for the party at her house that night when I dropped her off...
Cory did such a great job.

He had this amazing cake made for her...

We brought all the food and drinks.
We had ring pops, pop rocks, sots, lemon heads, grape heads, apple heads, big league chew.
Moutain Dew and Yoo hoo.
We had rainbow chip frosting dip with animal crackers, and doritos, and cheetos.
Anything not good for you was there!

Cory bought all these slap bracelets, glasses, and sticky hands.

I made this polaroid frame to take our pictures...
The Parkers and the Browns

The Maughans friends... and the Maughans

I do not know where our polaroid picture is...

We played the 80s Scene it game, which would have been cooler if any of us were actually old enough to remember the 80s. We were all kids, so if there were questions about My little Pony, Jem or Barbie and the Rockers, we had it, but it was a hard game!

It was way too much fun.

My favorite was Tyson. He wore a Members Only jacket, a hawaiian shirt, a mustache, and sunglasses.
He was straight up Tom Selleck from Magnum, PI.
I think he really looks like him too.

I had just come from jazzersize. It was a hard workout but at least my hair crimp wasn't messed up by my sweat. :)

It was lots of fun, and I really like reasons to dress up and celebrate.

Quincy!?

What?

She is just being obedient. I told her to go get her blocks...

a bow

Quincy cannot keep a hairbow in her hair to save her life. I can usually distract her for a couple minutes but she always finds it, rips it off and leaves it. I have lots some of my favorites because of that... sigh.

This particular day, she left it on for probably 3 hours! I was one happy mama and boy did she look cute!

And I offically love her lots and lots.

January

January sorta went fast, and well for that matter so has February, and I barely picked up my camera in January.  There were some randoms, and they were too cute not to share.

Can you tell she is the third child? She still has a bottle. She is just too cute, and I don't want to get rid of it, or I am just lazy. I haven't really decided. :) She will take one kind of sippy so it is a trade off between the two.

These Aden and Anais blankets are to die for, so light weight and soft.
I love them, and Quincy does too.

Merrick has been on another building kick. He whipped out the Lincoln Logs which I haven't seen them play with in ages! He was building forts all over the house. I like when they play with real toys and don't even want my kindle fire or my phone or the computer.

Berkleigh cannot sit in her chair to save her life. She takes a bite and then she walks around and repeats that process for an hour.
I told her if she didn't sit, I would tie her to the chair...
when she got up again, I had to stick to my word, but no yarn in sight, but I saw Tyson's belt.....
Done and done.

milestones

We put piggies in Quincy's hair!
She looks so cute, and the little piggies were so curly.
Oh I love it.

Quincy has her first pair of Toms. Well really her second, but the first pair she never wore. She got them for Christmas and they were already to small by the time she opened them, so I took them back and got a size bigger.

cinnamon rolls

This is the face of a kid who had her first taste of cinnamon roll and wanted more...

now.

It goes right here.

And when she got some, she macked and macked on that bad boy. She had it everywhere, and it made Merrick gag like 5 times. He couldn't look at her. She really knows how to eat. :)

book worm

This little girl is loving books. There is nothing cuter than a baby looking at a book that is upside down.

 Squirrel.

Something really shocking happened on this page....
