Tyson's Mohawk... not a Faux hawk

Tyson wanted his head shaved. I started messing around with it and created a little mohawk. The best part was that the clippers died before I could shave the rest off. We went to Target, bought new clippers, but had to go straight to a birthday party. He kept his hat on the WHOLE time. Stinker! I was able to snap a few pictures so everyone else can see the joy I felt when looking at this beautiful masterpiece. Enjoy!

Chillin at home while...

Mom's back gets better. So I really hurt my back a couple of days ago. Not really the best thing to hurt when you have twins. We have had some very chill days at home, and I can't complain the babies have been fantastic!
Baby Einstein and the bumbo chair... who needs parents?
Do you like our 1970s wood wall?
Where did Merrick get the bubble gum?

Happy Birthday Chris!!

Yesterday was my brother's birthday. He is such a good brother to me. We used to fight when we were younger, but we don't anymore, and I am so proud to call him my brother. He is super smart, works hard, is a great uncle, and married a wonderful person. The only thing I would change is that he likes PCs and can't stand Macs. What? Happy Birthday Chris. I love you!

One great Sunday

Jen and I went for a Sunday walk here at the local park. I guess I broke the sabbath because I caught a baby blue gill with a frisbee, I felt like the guy who catches fish with his hands and eats them raw. There was no way I was going to eat them raw #1 because it was the sabbath and #2 look at the water, years of duck waste in one convienent location. I thought this was a cute picture of Merrick-Tyson

Schlitterbahn..bahn..bahn..bahn

The hottest, coolest, time in Texas... Schlitterbahn.

So the world's largest waterpark is located in New Braunfels, Texas between San Antonio and Austin. We would frequent Schlitterbahn when I was younger during the hot summer months of Texas. In July, I went to the wedding of a good friend, and my parents took my brothers, my sister in law, me and the twins to Schlitterbahn. Of course it rained that day, but they stayed open. We had fun body surfing in the ginormous wave pool. My brothers rode boogie boards on the fake waves, and the twins lounged in the lazy river and baby pools. Thanks mom and dad!

Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk

We went to visit my grandparents in Aptos, California. We then went to the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk and Steamer Lane... a well known surfing spot. Well, we didn't ride any rides because of the babies (and there were about 3,000,000 people there) and we didn't get to go surfing because this spot that "goes off" looked like a lake today. :) Oh well. Another day. We had a ton of fun walking around Santa Cruz, letting the twins feel sand for the first time, and watching fisherman catch anchovies.

Berkleigh and Merrick also learned to sit up today! Yea! By the way... I don't wear that shirt EVERYDAY of the week... only every OTHER day. :)

The OC Fair

Watch out... They spit. (We could be talking about the Llamas or the babies.)
I am glad my litter is only two. Cute, huh?

We went with our friends the Polsons to the OC Fair. We had a lot of fun. Probably not as much fun as their daughter Emily though. She got a pony ride, a bumble bee ride, and a corn dog. :) It was fun to be with the Polsons, and to have good friends. It is funny to see the looks we got at the fair. We took the Polson double stroller cause we didn't bring ours, and one umbrella stroller. They have a baby 2 weeks younger than the twins, and with those three babies together they look like triplets. If I thought people gave us weird looks with two.... Man, glad I don't have three at a time. Thanks for hanging out with us Po Pos.
