and more visitors...

We were so excited to have so many visitors this summer. When Brooke and Kenz left, my parents came three days later.

We just kept the party going...

We did lots of painting and room things. (Another post)
But really... it would never get done if they didn't help! SO THANK YOU!

The crib was FINALLY sanded and painted, and those hideous pink walls with the ugly pink flowers are gone! yea.

We went on bike rides and walks.

We need to turn this picture into a pass along card for the ladies. :)

We walked to the garden. I love the garden. It is so fun to see growth. The kids love it too.

 We played on the playground.

 Someone hammed it up.

and we took some fun pictures on the secret bridge.

We took my family to Silver Falls.

Berkleigh's idea. How funny is she?

Some of the old and young took a rest... haha

(Laura! This is the shirt you gave her. Isn't she cute in it?)

Sisters... sisters..
(Berkleigh looks so loving in this picture but Quincy doesn't look like she believes it.)

Hiking is always more fun when uncles are present and will run after you and take you to the river.

Big huge trees and nature at its finest.

We also went to the Oregon State Fair.
It was so hometown.
I loved it.

Tyson loved the dirt car racing. I don't know what it is really called.

a BIG piano.

 Lots of livestock.

I loved watching the showmanship finals for the sheep.
It was intense.

Noshing on an elephant ear.

Berkleigh told me to take a picture of her with this Rapunzel cake, so I can remember how to make it for her birthday. uh. yea right.

Somehow the little stinkers war cute enough to persuade me and Tyson to pay for them to ride a ride...

Cute carnie family.

The rest of the carnies.

The day after the fair, we hoped in the car and drove to Washington for my grandpa's 101st birthday.
101... really. I don't know that I want to live that long.
Seriously.
He is awesome. He can still get around. Has amazing whit. (Must be where I get it from.. ha)
And he just is the best grandpa.
I LOVE that my children know him. I love that I have pictures of Quincy interacting with her grandpa who was born in 1911 when she was born in 2011. Wow.

Gotta love grandpa!

We also spent time in Portland.
I will let you guess what we did..
Yup.
Waffle window, Voodoo doughnuts, Powells... you know, the go to for people who haven't been before.

We had so much fun with my family. We wished Chris could have come, but it was fun all the same.

Sooooo much fun! What a great post! I love, love, LOVE Quincy's tea dress in the first photos! And the garden pics are beautiful. How fun to have a great weekend with family. Promise me you'll take us to Portland ( waffle window, Voodoo donoughts, and Powells) when we come see you. Oh, and Silver Falls, and the garden, and the beach. And the berry patch. :)

I can hardly stand Quincy's cuteness. I want to eat her for dinner and dessert. If our kids don't get married, I will be beyond devastated. Is there a support group for devastated mothers?
