The minute we set foot out of the car, you could smell fried food, see the lights from the carnie rides, and hear a band play "Sweet Home Alabama". There was definitely an "old town feel".
We didn't buy any food (yuck) and we didn't go on any rides (yikes) but we had loads of fun!
Dancing to Sweet Home Alabama
Loving the old rickety Carousel
Watching people waste their money on the carnival games...
We watched the carnie wipe down a ride someone threw up on and Merrick successfully peed his pants.
I love outings that just come together nicely.
I could have possibly been a carnie in a previous life...
4 love notes:
No joke, I clicked on your blog and my internet radio started playing "Sweet Home Alabama". Spooky..
We had a similar carnival here, maybe a bit smaller but definitely very fun!
What a blast! Love this kind of stuff--- always wanted to do this stuff as a kid but with 6 siblings our parents rarely had the energy or pocket book to take us all.
Looks like fun and anything that ends with peed pants has to be a blast! I love reading your cute blog, you are an inspiration. I'm also so glad you have such a wonderful ward, it looks like you young mothers hava a blast.
