Easter weekend

We were so lucky to have both our parents and a brother here for Easter, and they ALL stayed in our little three bedroom house.
It was a party!

Lets see...

We showed everyone around Salem in our fanciest dress...

Quincy's cuteness kept people from looking at the scenery...

Some of the men left on a fishing trip to Tillamook...

And some men (Grandpa Sorensen and Merrick) stayed to hold down the fort, protect the women, dye Easter eggs...

Go see the State (Mental) Hospital which was the filming location for the Academy Award winning
One Who Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest.

Eat at Word of Mouth for some Mouth watering Cinnamon Roll Pancakes and Prime Rib Hash.

We then headed to the State Capitol.
Took a tour and hiked up amazing amounts of stairs to the Golden Pioneer at the top of the capitol, which my kids so lovingly call Angel Moroni.

My dad, the Govenor...

We went to our ward Easter Egg Hunt...
There is nothing like starting your day off with running around a wet Oregon field with your friends,
and then posing with this freaky Easter Bunny.
Why does every Easter Bunny look like it wants to kill children?

Being cute like always...

Then Berkleigh's Dream came true...
We headed to the Tillamook Cheese Factory.
She will tell you cheese is her favorite food.

There shirts were killing me. I really want one.

Sampled a million different cheeses...

Berkleigh was in heaven, and said, "Cheese!" When I took this picture.
Hahaha.

And what is a cheese factory without some Tillamook Ice Cream.
mmmmm

Then in a fit of passion for cheese, Merrick decided to proclaim Tillamook the best (which it is) to the world, by riding around in the baby loaf...

On our way home from Tillamook, a quick stop at Haystack rock on the coast at Pacific City...
Easter Morning and the finding of the baskets..
Thanks grandmas for supplying the toys for the baskets this year.. :)
legos, a bird house, a tea set, a dinosaur hat, and a rapunzel wig...

And off to church for a very special Sacrament meeting to remember the Savior, and a special blessing for such a sweet baby girl....

It was a fun filled weekend!
I enjoyed every minute of it.
