Tiny Seed and the Giant Hug

We read this today and planted flowers.

and we did The Giant Hug on Monday morning:

We decided to send hugs to some people we love...
(We were gonna do lots of people we love, but I was sick of cutting out hands, so if you don't get a hug in the mail, we still love you.. )

We traced, cut, and colored our hands.

Then we measured our arm span, cut the yarn, and stapled the hands to each end, and sent them on their way...

AND Monday afternoon we did this:
Tyson had to buy a camera for work to take pictures of nasty feet. He "needed" a waterproof camera, you know, "in case blood gets on it". If you know my husband the real reason would be that he wants to take it surfing... I wasn't totally sold on the idea, but it is kind of the coolest thing ever to take your camera into the pool and not care if it goes under...

We got a little carried away doing ANTM poses underwater...

Above water:

What a great week so far, and it is half way over.

Okay, I LOVE the hug-in-the-mail idea. Not so sure about the stone soup, though, I gotta be honest. And the "in case he gets blood on it" had me rollin'. Hilarious.
