Happy 30 Jen

HAPPY 30 Years

Jen turns the big 3-0 today. Every year this time I take over her blog (I am her husband, and know the codes) and do a poor job of trying to convey what a wonderful person she is.
Chances are if you are reading this you have already been positively affected by Jens death ray of LOVE.
Jen and I meet when we were both 18, I knew there was something different with her, not to mention she was and still is super hot! After a small period of stalking we started dating. I was pleased to find her unmarried (even after several attempts), when I came back from my mission. We shortly married and and we have almost been married 8 years.

We all know Jen is a loving, kind, selfless, spiritual, creative, funny and wonderful mother.

She loves to blog, I think because she loves communicating with her friends and is always improving herself and those around her.
If you like Jen or her blog she loves it when people comment, I think she would much rather see a greeting or a story about how you know her than anything I could write.
I love you Jen and thanks for reminding me everyday what a great choice I made in marrying you.-Tyson

Happy Birthday! I wish we were closer so I knew you and Tyson even better. I remember being hesitant hanging out with you two at first (you know ex-girlfriend worries or whatever I had when I first started dating Ian--believe me it wasn't because of your lack of coolness)...

Anyway I think you two are awesome and have loved chillin with you anytime we've had the chance--which is not often enough. I hope you have a marvelous year Jen!

We hardly got a chance to hang out before you moved, yet I feel like we are still great friends somehow. From that brief period though, I knew you were genuine, caring, and friendly. Happy Birthday to a wonderful mom, wife and friend!

Love it. Happy Birthday Jen! I remember getting your wedding announcement because you guys got married on the day I got home from my mission. Seriously, I tried to think up a way to fly home through San Diego just so I could come. Hope the peaches, pears and birthday cake hit the spot.

Happy Birthday Jen! My memories of all of us at BYU make me smile everytime I think about them! We need to make some more current memories sometime! You are every bit as awesome as Tyson wrote in his post. Love you and hope you have a great day!!

Jen- Hope your birthday was great- I have a hard time beleiving you are 30- So that means I met you when you are about 9, You've always been a "death ray of love" I just never knew that was what it was. I'm grateful to Tyson for explaining that. I think your wedding receptions coincided with a birth or pregnancy of some sort so I couldn't make it and I'll forever be sad about that- but from what i "see" on your blog, you are just as wonderful as you ever where as a young girl. Clearly Tyson Married well.

I can't believe I missed it! I was planning all week to come comment on your birthday, and then I totally spaced it yesterday. (I'm blaming it on the fact that I had to sing at Enrichment and I was extremely nervous and lost all sense of ... well, anything, really.)

I want you to know that I love you and I love that Tyson takes over your blog on your birthday. Very sweet. I hope you had a great day and welcome to the thirties! It's not so bad. :)

happy belated birthday! sorry we've been on vacation for a week or so and i totally spaced it even though i always remember you have the same birthday as my dad.

the first jen story that came into my head was how you chased down those little boys for throwing rocks at cars and you threatened to tell the principal. haha.

i hope your 30s are as great for you as your 20s because those seem like they've gone really well! hope you had a good day!

Jen, when your brother married the lovely Jennifer my-niece Duplantis, you got a WHOLE bunch of blog-stalkers loving your take on life. From Louisiana to Texas to Saudi Arabia to wherever, we're always saying, Hey, did you see Jen Scott's blog today?

Keep writing.

I wrote on facebook on the 19th but have to comment here as well. I have a million stories about how Jen is amazing! One example is the very first time I met her I was dealing with a crazy roomate and she took me in with open arms. She was wearing a Garth Brooks T shirt so we bonded instantly. :) She was my good friend ever since! (And I was her adopted roomate.)
